Interpretation of opening time, cut-off time, cut-off time and cut-off release slip time

1. Opening time

After the cargo is booked, the shipping company will release s/o to the cargo owner, and specify the dates above so that the cargo owner can arrange container loading. Opening time refers to the earliest time when the empty tank can be lifted. If the opening time has not yet arrived, the empty tank cannot be picked up from the dock or the place designated by the shipping company.

2. Cut-off time

The cut-off Time, also known as the document cut-off time, is the latest time for the shipper to submit the required information to the shipping company for the production of the bill of lading. That is, the time when the shipping company finally changes the format of the bill of lading. Before that, the format and information of the bill of lading can be modified several times. After that, the amendment of the bill of lading will result in the bill of lading amendment fee. If the replenishment of the bill of lading cannot be submitted to the shipping company in time, you can apply to the shipping company for SI Late Come, that is, to extend the cut-off time, and generally the shipping company will extend a few hours to the shipper.

S/I CLOSING is a special requirement of the American line, which is different from other routes. The forwarder must inform the carrier of the cargo and other information 48 hours before departure. The carrier must report the cargo information to US Customs through the AMS system 24 hours prior to the departure of the ship, and must provide US Customs with the true owner and consignee.

AMS --America manifest system-- The United States warehouse manifest system, also known as anti-terrorism manifest fee, information fee. The goods imported from the United States (all over the world) need to provide this data, which is provided to the United States Customs, including the specific bulk body, the real consignee and shipper, and the name of the goods in both Chinese and English. It is generally required to be completed one day before closing.

3. Cut-off time

The cut-off time includes the cut-off time of the terminal and the cut-off time of the release slip

A. Closing Time (English: Closing time), which is the time for the terminal to receive heavy containers. (that is, the latest time to return the container after loading the goods) means that after this time the shipping company no longer arranges this time to return the container on the voyage, that is, the heavy container can not be handed over to the dock, let alone loaded.

B. Cut-off clearance refers to the latest time for the shipping company to accept the customs clearance (the latest is usually within six hours after the cut-off of the container, which is the buffer time). The goods must be cleared for customs clearance before this time and submitted to the shipping company for customs clearance. After this time, the shipping company will not accept the release slip of the cargo for the voyage, and the cargo will not be allowed on the voyage.

1) The release slip is a release certificate given by the customs after the release. If the customs release slip is submitted after this time, the shipping company will regard the goods as failing to clear customs and release them, and will not allow them to board the ship. At this time, even if the heavy container has been returned to the dock, it can only be extended to the next ship; Of course, this will incur considerable costs, including amendment fees, storage yard rental and documentation fees.

2) If the customs is closed on the same day, the customs inspection rate of the goods declared on the same day is very high, generally experienced freight forwarders will advise the shipper to postpone the customs declaration to the next ship in this case, otherwise the inspection fee, the ship name change fee, and the cost of space rental will have to be dragged out for a long time.

3) If you do not meet the cut-off time, you can also apply for CY LateCome to the shipping company in advance, and the shipping company may allow the heavy container to be delivered several hours late. But sometimes the shipping company does not agree to extend the time to the shipper. Customs declaration in Shenzhen must be returned to the container after the heavy container paper to arrange customs declaration. It is best to return the container half a day to more than one day before the cut-off. The order is to cut the load cabinet, cut the customs, and cut the release slip.

4, customs clearance time

Is the shipping company to give the final receipt of shipping slip (commonly known as release slip) date! Port area generally in a few hours before the ship leaves, start to sort out customs clearance of the station receipt ready to ship! This time is also the cut-off time!

It's like going to the train, the cut-off counter, which is equivalent to the time until the check-in station, the cut-off pass, which is equivalent to the time for the train crew to stop passengers on the train, you have to wait for the next train.
