Sunny Logistics is a professional freight forwarder that can let the shippers rest assured
No matter when, some problems can not be completely avoided, but we can reduce the occurrence of problems and deal with them professionally and timely.
The communication with Mike began in May. At the beginning, Mike just came to me with some of his previous cargo information to understand the price of bulk cargo delivery in Australia. Because we have more than ten years of freight experience in Australia, we found a very advantageous channel for the customer to deliver bulk cargo to Australia, so I quickly provided the freight quotation according to his cargo information. In addition, his goods are furniture, and he is going to Australia. According to our experience, furniture generally contains solid wood, and Australia has requirements for wood products: fumigation must be done and Chinese fumigation certificate must be issued, so I reminded Mike of the import and transportation instructions of Australian wood products at the same time of quotation.
In addition, I also suggested Mike to make wood frame for the goods, so as to prevent the goods from being damaged during transportation. I also sent him some packing pictures of the furniture we sent before.
Mike told me his real situation, hoping that I could give corresponding suggestions: Mike and his friends jointly opened a furniture store in Australia. In the past 12 years, they used full-container transportation, which could save most of the freight. However, this kind of time limitation is relatively long, and they need to wait for all the goods to be shipped after the production is completed.
However, most of Mike's customers want to customize their own styles directly, or they see one of their products, but the warehouse is temporarily out of stock, and he cannot replenish the goods in time. This time I come to inquire about the price of bulk goods because a customer wants to buy products just because his warehouse is empty, and he can't wait for the delivery of the next full container, so he wants to see if we can find a new mode of transportation and directly ask us to deliver his goods to the customer's address. After he told me this situation, I thought this way was OK, because many of our customers are traders who purchase goods in China and then ask us to send the goods directly to his customers. So I told him that this way is completely enforceable, and some traders have started to do it. In addition, if he does not want any factory information on the package, we can provide him with re-labeling and packaging services, and we provide door-to-door service, picking up the goods from the factory in China, shipping them by sea, handling customs clearance after arriving in Australia, and delivering them to the customer's address, which does not require the customer to do more work.
In the communication with Mike, I showed him some previous service experience of our company and the video of our office. Finally, Mike told me that he thought our company was very professional, so he was willing to have a try.
We started our first collaboration. Since the goods are wood products and are transported by sea, I suggested Mike to make wood frames, and informed him that since the process of sea transportation would involve more than three manual handling and loading, there would be a great risk that the goods might be deformed or damaged due to accidental collision. However, considering the cost, Mike refused the suggestion of building the frame. We also respected his choice and told the staff to be careful when carrying it. Fortunately, the first shipment went smoothly and was delivered to his customer at the appointed time. Soon we started the second and third cooperation, but soon because the goods did not have a wooden frame, the outer package of a batch of goods was damaged, and the goods inside were also deformed after being opened. After finding out this situation, I immediately informed Mike, sent the photos to him, and applied for insurance claim. Due to the deformation of the goods, it was impossible to send them to his customer anymore, so we discussed with Mike and directly transported the goods from Sydney to the customer's warehouse in Perth through DHL. However, because the goods were damaged, there was no way to deliver the goods to his customers, resulting in the cancellation of the order.
Because of this problem, Mike also realized the importance of packing goods. A small part of the cost of the wooden frame saved at that time led to more losses now, and because of this problem, the customer once again affirmed our professional services, and soon began a follow-up long-term cooperation with us.
During the transportation of products from China to foreign countries, it is necessary to go through inland transportation, but also to drift at sea for many days or even more than a month, and then through some other modes of transportation to load and unload before being delivered to customers. No matter how careful you are, problems are inevitable. What we can do is to avoid them as much as possible according to our experience and expertise.
When the situation occurs, our team will provide the best solution very quickly and professionally, and try our best to minimize the loss of customers. This is the best quality service we can provide, and we hope that more people can experience our professional service.
