Qatar Airways and Malaysia Airlines have officially launched a strategic partnership. This cooperation will significantly enhance the connectivity and operational efficiency of both parties in the global air cargo field. Under the cooperation agreement, Qatar Airways Cargo will operate two flights per week on the Doha-Kuala Lumpur route operated by Boeing 777 freighters, which will add more than 200 tons of cargo capacity.
At the same time, Malaysia Airlines Cargo’s Airbus A330 freighters will provide more than 75 tons of cargo services to Sydney and Melbourne every week. The processing time of goods transferred to the above cities is only 8 hours in Kuala Lumpur.
This collaboration not only strengthens the position of Doha Hamad International Airport (DOH) and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) as strategic global hubs, but also provides customers with more efficient connectivity and advanced cargo handling facilities
