How can you not understand the water bill when doing foreign trade? Be wary of fake water bills!

The "bank slip" in foreign trade refers to the receipt that the consignee gets after the payment in the bank, which proves that the payment has been remitted.

Many foreign traders will ask customers for remittance bills after customer T/T payment, which is a good habit, but can you really understand the bill?

What are the key points to focus on in the water list?

We should pay special attention to these items in the water list.

  • Value Date:打款时间

  • Funding Account:汇款账户

  • Funding Account Name:汇款账户名称

  • Beneficiary Name:收款人名称

  • Beneficiary Account Number:收款账户

  • Beneficiary Bank:收款行

If all the above information is correct, but the remittance is delayed, the customer can ask the bank to obtain an MT103 message. You can understand the MT103 message as the tracking number, through this "tracking number", you can check whether the "express" was sent, when it was sent, and other details.

As the saying goes: "Don't see a rabbit and don't scatter an eagle", foreign traders must be wary of fake water bills, and never release goods if the payment is not in the account!
