MSC resumed this US-West route, calling Yantian, Ningbo and Shanghai
On June 12, Mediterranean Shipping (MSC) announced the resumption of the MUSTANG route from Asia to the West Coast of the United States from Week 28, aiming to better meet the growing demand of the trans-Pacific market.
According to reports, the MUSTANG route will provide more capacity and faster transit times. The first ship is MSC LELLA, the voyage is UV428A, the port of call is: Yantian - Ningbo - Shanghai - Long Beach - Yantian.
In addition to the resumption of the MUSTANG route, MSC also announced on June 7 the launch of two new routes, BRITANNIA and CARIOCA.
Among them, the BRITANNIA route aims to further expand the coverage of China and Vietnam to the United Kingdom and Northwest Europe, and increase the port connection, calling the port order: Shanghai - Ningbo - Yantian - Vouton - Liverpool - Rotterdam - Antwerp - Hamburg - London Gateway - Singapore - Shanghai.
The CARIOCA route connects Asia with the east coast of South America, calling on the following ports: Busan - Shanghai - Ningbo - Shekou - Singapore - Rio de Janeiro - Paranagua - Itapoa - Santos - Itaguai - Colombo - Singapore - Busan.
