Milestone! Cma CGM completes 100th LNG bunkering
Cma CGM, the global leader in land, sea and air transport and logistics solutions, successfully completed its 100th simultaneous operation refueling at Shanghai Yangshan Port Terminal at the end of November. Since the signing of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering agreement with the Port of Shanghai in 2022, this milestone marks a solid step for CMA CGM in promoting green shipping and strengthening international cooperation.
The refueling of CMA CGM Patagonia is not only a major achievement, but also a new record for the largest single refueling volume in China: 11,500 cubic meters of LNG. This addition was also completed at the same time as the cargo loading and unloading. In March 2022, CMA CGM and Shanghai Port successfully completed China's first single ship-to-ship LNG refueling operation.
