Wan Hai Lines adds new direct routes from Vietnam and Thailand to India, grand inaugural voyage ceremony

 

     Wan Hai Lines' new direct service Tamil Nadu-Thailand Express (TTX service) arrived in Chennai and Vizag, India on May 5 and 6 respectively. To celebrate this important milestone, Wan Hai Lines India Branch and local terminal units held a maiden voyage ceremony, symbolizing the official operation of the route and the start of a new chapter of deepening its roots in India.

 

     Wan Hai Lines' newly added TTX direct service is in response to the booming two-way trade in the Vietnam, Thailand and India markets, in order to provide customers with more complete and convenient transportation services. The route is regularly operated by four ships with a loading capacity of 2,200 TEU, and the overall voyage cycle is 28 days. The maiden voyage was carried out by "WAN HAI 317" and set sail from the Port of Kalai, Vietnam on April 20.

     The ports of call on the new route are: Kalis – Langkawi – Singapore – North Port Klang – Chennai – Vizag – North Port Klang – Singapore – Kalis
