Maersk's first French warehouse opens! Empower the world's leading e-commerce enterprises
With the new warehouse in Denham, northern France, Maersk opens its first warehouse in France, located in one of Europe's major logistics hubs, providing fulfillment services to the world's leading e-commerce companies.
Covering 75,000 square meters, the Maersk warehouse is the first warehouse launched by the company in France and is part of GLP Park Denain (with a total area of approximately 100,000 square meters), which is now fully operational. Located next to the city of Lille in the Haut-de-France region of France, the complex is the third largest logistics employment region in France, with approximately 500,000 residents living less than 30 minutes from the site, easily accessible by 12 motorways and rail links. The new facility is located at the junction of the A2 and A21 motorways (109 km from Brussels and 198 km from Paris), along the canal of the escaut River.

The new warehouse has obtained BREEAM Very Good certification and is equipped with 85 doors, beam height of 11.40 meters, ground load of 5 tons/m2 and truck field of 35 meters. The facility has separate flows for heavy goods and light vehicles and is equipped with an automatic dock (automatic docking system).
With the opening of the Danish warehouse, Maersk now offers warehousing and distribution services in 15 European countries, in addition to its global warehouse network. The previous facility opened in Fredericia, Denmark, in the summer of 2024.
