    On September 19, COSCO Shipping Consolidated issued an important notice on the new regulations on manifest declaration implemented by the EU Customs.

 

    According to the notice, EU Customs will officially implement the new manifest declaration regulation, requiring goods shipped to or through the EU from around the world to submit an entry declaration (ENS) through the EU Import Control System (ICS2).

 

    According to the ICS2 implementation plan, COSCO Shipping will start to make EU entry declaration (ENS) through ICS2 from mid-to-late October.

    Since the new regulations require a mandatory risk assessment before loading and arrival of the cargo, COSCO Shipping Consolidated reminds its customers to provide the following data on the basis of the original ENS declaration rules:

 

- Detailed and accurate name of goods, general name is not accepted - at least 6 HS CODE- full address of consignee (including country, city, street name + number or Po Box number) - Direct customer, Seller and Buyer information EORI (Economic Operator Registration and Identification) number of the reporting party - freight forwarder or NVOCC, The Economic Operator Registration and Identification (EORI) number of the House B/L applicant is required

 

    Cosco Shipping Consolidated also said that it will inform customers of the latest progress and operation methods in a timely manner through various means.
