What do CY/FO, CY/CY, CY/LO mean?
CY/CY
CY/CY refers to the stockyard to stockyard mode. The carrier receives the full container load at the container yard of the port of loading and is responsible for delivering the full container load to the consignee at the container yard of the port of discharge.
CY/FO
CY/FO (Free Out) The carrier receives the full container load at the container yard of the port of loading and is responsible for transporting it to the port of discharge but is not responsible for discharging it;
CY/LO
CY/LO (Line Out) The carrier receives the full container load at the container yard of the port of loading and is responsible for transporting it to the port of discharge for unloading;
CY/TACKLE
CY/TACKLE The carrier receives the FCL at the container yard at the port of loading and is responsible for transporting the FCL to the port of unloading for unloading on the pick-up truck;
CY/HOOK
CY/HOOK carrier receives the full container load at the container yard at the port of loading and is responsible for discharging the load at the port of discharge, where the service terminates when the cargo is lowered by the boom.
